About Me
I have been sewing for many years, but became somewhat obsessed with sewing bags in 2003 after I almost missed a friend's birthday and needed to make something quickly.
I pulled from my home decorator fabrics and made a bag for her that she still on occasion carries today.
I love mixing many types of fabric to make a unique bag.
Recently I began to add faux & vintage pendants and beads to some of my creations. Beemie was a childhood nickname.
Since my fascination with fabric began while I sat at the foot of my mother's sewing machine, playing with the scraps and sometimes rocking back and forth on the old treadle I felt my bags should reflect my humble beginnings.
